I was at all the park vision meetings. NO ONE polled wanted a BIG regional pickleball complex. I wanted a action sports "pump track" for area kids to use. Enter, the heavily funded pickleball lobbyist and The Frosio clan to push the city to destroy a neighborhood park with too many pickleball courts and overpriced playground equipment imported from Europe and insane cost.
Mary Frosio lobbied the city hard for the BIG pickleball complex for her brother the professional pickleball instructor which was not hard since Mary owns all city council persons and her brother is on the CDB. Nepotism Beach at its best.
